Malaysian in Brunei pleads guilty to sexual abuse of daughter


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): A 34-year-old Malaysian man pleaded guilty to two counts of sexually abusing his 12-year-old daughter.

Intermediate Court Judge Harnita Zelda Skinner fixed the case for further mention to hear submissions from Prosecutor Atiyyah Abas before handing sentence.

The defendant, kept anonymous to avoid identification of the victim, fondled the victim at their flathouse, sometime between January and September.

The defendant’s sexual attacks were unearthed when the victim told her mother about the incidents.
