No Covid-19 cases in Categories 4, 5


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): There are no Covid-19 cases in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and under close monitoring as well as no patients in Category 5 under treatment at the intensive care unit.

Brunei Darussalam also recorded no Covid-19 deaths in the past 24 hours.

These were reported by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in its daily report on Tuesday (Sept 27)

Some 180 patients were declared recovered yesterday bringing the total number of recoveries to 225,069.

Meanwhile, 78.4 per cent of the Brunei population received at least three doses of the Covid-19 vaccine while 10.4 per cent were given the fourth shot.

Some 85.1 per cent of children aged five to 11 were administered at least two doses of the vaccine while 61.4 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 were administered the third dose.
