BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sept 27 (Bornep Bulletin/ANN): The Brunei public ihas been reminded to take preventative measures for respiratory infections as the Sultanate is seeing a slight increase in influenza-like illness (ILI) in the past two weeks.

This was said by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Mohd Isham Jaafar during a press conference in the capital.

He said preventative measures include isolating oneself during the period of symptoms; wearing a face mask; and frequent handwashing with soap or disinfectant.

The minister said the measures are similar to those for Covid-19.

“We hope the public cooperates and continues to upload antigen rapid test (ART) results – whether positive or negative – to the BruHealth app,” said the minister. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
