Tourism body works hard to bring Japanese tourists back to Thailand

BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) hopes at least 350,000 Japanese tourists will visit the kingdom this year and generate at least 21 billion baht in revenue.

TAT governor Yuthasak Supasorn said on Thursday (Sept 22) that from Jan 1 to Sept 20, as many as 166,709 Japanese tourists had entered Thailand, making them the 12th highest arrivals in the country.
