Fourth Covid-19 dose covers 10.3 per cent of Brunei population


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Some 10.3 per cent of the population has been administered the fourth dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, while 78.4 per cent has received three doses.

Meanwhile, the inoculation statistics for children aged five to 11 with two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine are 84.9 per cent, while 61.3 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose of the vaccine.

The latest Covid-19 situation in the country was shared by the Ministry of Health in its daily report.

Two hundred and twenty Covid-19 cases were reported as fully recovered, bringing the tally of recoveries to 224,004.

No Covid-19 fatalities were recorded in the last 24 hours.

There are no cases in Category 5 requiring treatment at the intensive care unit while two cases are in Category 4 requiring respiratory assistance and close monitoring.
