Thailand records 1,508 confirmed Covid-19 cases, 29 deaths


BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): The Public Health Ministry reported on Tuesday (Aug 16) that over the past 24 hours, 1,508 Covid-19 patients have been admitted to hospitals.

The death toll has risen by 29, while 2,023 patients have recovered and discharged from hospitals.

The number of cumulative cases in the country since Jan 1, 2022, stands at 2,400,161 with 10,189 deaths.
