Brunei records 545 Covid-19 recoveries, says health ministry


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Aug 15 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Brunei recorded 545 Covid-19 recoveries on Sunday night (Aug 14) bringing the number of recovered cases to 214,142, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced in its daily report in the capital.

Two cases are in Category 4 receiving respiratory assistance and under close observation.

The inoculation statistics for children aged five to 11 with two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine stands at 81.8 per cent, while 55.1 per cent of adolescents aged 12 to 17 have been administered the third dose.

The coverage rate of Brunei population with three shots of the vaccine remained at 76.1 per cent, while 8.5 per cent of the populace have been administered the fourth dose. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
