Vietnam has economically rebounded well despite pandemic and other challenges, says HSBC Global Research

HANOI, July 23 (Bernama): Vietnam is poised to be among the region's top growing nations, as it has been one of the world's few countries to record growth in two consecutive years since the pandemic, says HSBC Global Research.

The Asean member state's economy started on a firm footing in 2022, sticking with a policy to "co-live with the virus," with the country accelerating its vaccination drive and gradually removing local restrictions, fuelling consumer sentiment, leading to an ongoing rebound in local consumption, according to analysts of Markets and Securities Services, HSBC Vietnam.
