Thailand records 2,428 Covid-19 cases and 22 deaths


BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): The Ministry of Public Health reported on Wednesday (July 6) morning that in the past 24 hours there are 2,428 new patients who tested positive for Covid-19, three of whom have arrived in Thailand from abroad.

The death toll increased by 22, while 2,049 patients were cured and allowed to leave hospitals.

Cumulative cases in the country since Jan 1, 2022 are at 2,313,010.
