Brunei's fourth dose of Covid-19 vaccine figures at 2.7 per cent

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, July 3 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Brunei has one Covid-19 case in Category 5 receiving treatment at the intensive care unit, while five other cases are in Category 4 receiving respiratory assistance and under close monitoring.

The Ministry of Health announced in its daily statement yesterday that 2.7 per cent of the populace have received the fourth dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, while 73.2 per cent have been administered the third dose.

The vaccination rate for double-dosed children aged five to 11 stands at 75.2 per cent, while 50.2 per cent have received the third dose.

No fatalities were recorded over the last 24 hours.

The overall coverage rate for the country’s citizens and residents who have received three doses reached 73.2 per cent.

Meanwhile, the Covid-19 vaccination rate for children aged five to 11 having received two doses is at 75.1 per cent while for the third dose is at 50.1 per cent. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
