Brunei's fourth Covid-19 vaccination figures stand at 2.2%


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): A change in calculation method indicates that 2.2 per cent of the populace have been administered the fourth dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, the Ministry of Health (MoH) announced in its daily statement on Thursday (June 30).

Meanwhile, the overall coverage rate for individuals who have received the third dose is at 73.1 per cent.

The vaccination rate for children aged five to 11 who are double-dosed stands at 74.6 per cent, while 49.9 per cent have received the third dose.

No Covid-19 fatalities were reported over the last 24 hours, the MoH press statement added.

Five Category 4 cases are being closely monitored and receiving respiratory assistance.

Additionally, 827 cases have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 160,083.
