BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, June 27 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The percentage of the population who have acquired the fourth dose of Covid-19 vaccine in Brunei has increased to 12.1 per cent as of yesterday, while 72.8 per cent of the populace have received three doses, a Ministry of Health (MoH) statement had announced.
The vaccination rate for children aged five to 11 with two doses of the vaccine stands at 73.6 per cent, while 49.4 per cent received three doses.
The MoH also stated that two cases are in Category 5 requiring intensive care treatment, and three cases in Category 4 require respiratory assistance.
No Covid-related fatality was reported in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 592 cases recovered yesterday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 156,894. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
