Over nine per cent of Brunei's population have received fourth Covid-19 dose


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sept 26 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Some 9.3 per cent of the Brunei population have received the fourth dose of the Covid-19 vaccine, while 72.6 per cent have received the third dose, according to a daily statement by the Ministry of Health (MoH).

Meanwhile, 72.9 per cent of children aged five to 11 have received two doses of the vaccine while 49.1 per cent have received the third.

No Covid-19 fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours.

The MoH said one case in Category 5 requires treatment at the intensive care unit while two cases in Category 4 require respiratory assistance and are being monitored closely.

Some 638 cases have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 155,585. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
