Thailand records 4,144 Covid-19 cases and 36 deaths


BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): The Ministry of Public Health reported on Tuesday (May 24) morning that in the past 24 hours there are 4,144 new patients who tested positive for Covid-19, one of whom has arrived in Thailand from abroad.

The death toll increased by 36, while 7,235 patients were cured and allowed to leave hospitals.

Cumulative cases in the country since Jan 1, 2022 are at 2,196,302.
