BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, May 20 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): The Ministry of Health (MoH) is set to roll out BruHealth version 3.0 on Sunday (May 22), offering new features to the app.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Mohd Isham Jaafar shared the upgrade during the daily press conference yesterday.
With the upgrade, Dr Mohd Isham said, “BruHealth will be used as a digital health app for users to plan healthy lifestyle activities (health plan) tailored to their needs.
“BruHealth 3.0 will have updated user interface (UI), biometric ID or password log in; all-in-one code scanner that can automatically scan QR codes for vaccination certificates, BruHealth QR code in premises and recovery certificate; and updated help features that will make it easier for users should they encounter issues when using the app.”
BruHealth 3.0, he said, “will also have two new health programmes – BN on the Move and the Check in Challenge – which will be launched and used in the near future”.
The minister urged users to log into the app on Sunday and update the software before using the latest version.
Meanwhile, the Sultanate recorded 262 new Covid-19 cases yesterday, bringing the national tally of confirmed cases to 145,783.
From the latest number of infections, 253 cases were results from antigen rapid tests (ART) and nine were results of 341 RT-PCR laboratory tests performed in the past 24 hours, the minister said, adding that no Covid-19 deaths were reported.
Dr Mohd Isham also said, “No cases are categorised in Category 5, requiring treatment in the intensive care unit and there are no cases in Category 4 that require respiratory assistance and close monitoring.”
One hundred and forty-three cases have recovered, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 143,620.
Meanwhile, there are 1,942 active cases, where 17 are being treated in hospitals and 1,925 are under self-isolation.
As of Wednesday, some 196 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine were given to children aged five to 11, bringing the total number of first dose vaccinations administered to 32,836 or 76.5 per cent.
A total of 1,176 second doses of the vaccine were administered to children in the age group, bringing the number of second doses administered to children in the age group to 13,058 or 30.4 per cent.
Meanwhile, the rate of the country’s citizens and residents having received three doses is 69 per cent. - Borneo Bulletin/ANN
