John Lee Ka-chiu (pic) won the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region’s chief executive election, becoming the sixth-term chief executive-designate after securing 1,416 votes from Election Committee members.
Lee, 64, is expected to assume office on July 1 after his appointment by the central government and will serve a five-year term.
