MANILA, April 26 (Philippines Daily Inquirer/ANN): Senatorial candidate General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar highlighted the importance of developing the country’s sports programmes to produce more world-class Filipino athletes and avoid losing talents due to lack of support from the government.
Eleazar was invited as a speaker at the opening ceremony of the Cagayan Valley Regional Athletic Meet on Monday (April 25) where he addressed participating student-athletes from the region’s five provinces and four cities.
