Thai PM Prayut's special aide quits all govt post controversial audio clip regarding lottery tickets

BANGKOK, April 18 (The Nation Thailan/ANN): Thailand's top government official Seksakol Atthawong on Monday stepped down as aide to the prime minister as well as chair of the sub-committee assigned with tackling overpriced lottery tickets.

This was following the leak of an audio clip of him asking to borrow 15 million Baht in a conversation with another political official, which has raised questions of possible irregularities and abuse of power, as it was reported widely in the local media.
