SINGAPORE, April 9 (The Straits Times): Two live pythons being smuggled into Singapore in a styrofoam box in a lorry from Malaysia were seized at Tuas Checkpoint on Thursday (April 7).
In a joint statement released on Saturday (April 9), the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and the National Parks Board (NParks) said that ICA officers found the pythons hidden in a styrofoam box in the cabin of the Malaysia-registered lorry, which was transporting cement.
