UN Myanmar envoy briefs Cambodia's Hun Sen on ‘three-layered solution’

PHNOM PENH, April 3 (Phnom Penh Post/ANN): The UN secretary-general's special envoy on Myanmar Noeleen Heyzer informed Prime Minister Hun Sen, the Asean chairman for 2022, that she had initiated a “three-layered solution” for the ongoing crisis plaguing the bloc’s westernmost country.

Heyzer paid a courtesy call on Hun Sen on April 1 during a visit to Cambodia, two days after her meeting with Asean special envoy on Myanmar Prak Sokhonn, according to a statement posted on the premier’s official Facebook page.
