Philippines records lowest monthly unemployment rate after Covid-19 outbreak

MANILA, March 20 (Xinhua): The unemployment rate dipped to 6.4 percent in January in the Philippines with around 2.93 million Filipinos were out of work, according to a Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) survey report that has been released to the media

PSA head Dennis Mapa told a virtual press conference that the rate recorded in January is the lowest since April 2020 after the Covid-19 outbreak.
