BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): The number of Saudi Arabian tourists to Thailand is expected to jump 10 times — to around 300,000 a year — thanks to the recently revived ties between the two kingdoms.
The Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) made the estimate after Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha on Tuesday (Jan 24) visited Saudi Arabia at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed Salman, who is considered the de facto leader of the oil-rich Middle East country.
