YANGON (Xinhua); The number of Covid-19 infections has risen to 533,408 in Myanmar after 163 new cases were reported in the past 24 hours, according to a release from the Ministry of Health on Tuesday (Jan 19)
With one more death, the country's death toll has increased to 19,305 while the number of recoveries has reached 511,483 on Tuesday.
The ministry on Tuesday issued an order of removing a stay-at-home order in Hakha township of Chin state starting Wednesday as the township has been recently seeing fewer Covid-19 infections.
Myanmar detected its first two Covid-19 positive cases in March 2020.
