Cambodia's Omicron cases surge to 150 with 27 new infections

PHNOM PENH, Jan. 8 (Xinhua):The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases of Omicron variant in Cambodia has risen to 150 after 27 new infections were recorded in the last 24 hours, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said on Saturday.

"All 27 new cases were imported and they are Omicron cases," the MoH said in a statement, adding that so far, no domestic cases of Omicron have been reported in the southeast Asian nation.
