Cambodia's agricultural exports surge in 2021 on data as govt confirms another 10 Omicron cases on Tuesday (Jan 4)


PHNOM PENH, Jan 4 (Bernama): Cambodia exported 7.98 million tonnes of agricultural products in 2021, up 63.8 per cent year-on-year, raking in nearly US$5 billion, according to Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Veng Sakhon.

The country's agricultural export value in 2021 increased by nearly 11 per cent compared to the previous year, the minister cited preliminary statistics of the Cambodian Plant Quarantine Authority.
