PHNOM PENH, Jan. 2 (Xinhua): The number of people arrested in Cambodia for allegedly involving in illicit drugs declined in 2021, while the number of drugs seized increased sharply, the country's anti-drug department reported on Sunday.
The authorities had detained 13,765 drug-related suspects in 6,242 cases last year, down 34 per cent and 39 per cent respectively compared to a year earlier, the report said.
