Cambodian foreign minister and UN special envoy discuss Myanmar situation

PHNOM PENH, Dec 31 (Xinhua): Cambodian Foreign Minister Prak Sokhonn has met with Noeleen Heyzer, special envoy of the secretary-general of the United Nations (UN), and discussed the situation in Myanmar, said in an official foreign ministry's press statement.

In a video conference on Tuesday, according to the statement, Heyzer congratulated Cambodia on assuming the rotating chairmanship of the 10-country Association of South-East Asian Nations (Asean) for 2022.
