BANGKOK, Dec 21 (Reuters): Thailand on Tuesday approved a new package of economic stimulus measures including tax breaks for shoppers, as it looks to revive an economy struggling with the Covid-19 pandemic-induced collapse of its vital tourism sector.

South-East Asia's second-largest economy is expected to expand 4% next year after just 1% predicted for this year, Finance Minister Arkhom Termpittayapaisith said at a news conference, detailing the new measures.
