Thailand logs 3,618 Covid-19 cases and 38 deaths


BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): Ministry of Public Health reported on Wednesday (Dec 8) morning that in the past 24 hours there are 3,618 new patients who tested positive for Covid-19, 40 of whom have been found in prisons.

The death toll increased by 38, while 5,775 patients were cured and allowed to leave hospitals.

Cumulative cases in the country are at 2,152,384 with 21,035 total deaths.
