Thai police crackdown on human trafficking gang in Tak


BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): Police officers of Child, Woman Protection and Anti-Human Trafficking Centre on Monday (Dec 7) arrested three suspects for alleged involvement in international human trafficking operations in Mae Sot district of Tak province.

“The three suspects, two of whom are Myanmar nationals, are part of a group detaining Myanmar migrants in Thailand,” said Pol Lt-General Surachet Hakphan, assistant to the National Police chief.
