Lao PM to attend 13th Asia-Europe summit


VIENTIANE (Vientiane Times/Asia News Network): Prime Minister Phankham Viphavanh (pic) will lead a high-level Lao delegation attending the 13th Asia-Europe Summit (ASEM 13), which will take place via videoconference from Nov 25-26, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The summit will take place amid the Covid-19 crisis, which has disrupted socio-economic development and affected the livelihoods of people on the two continents.
