External factors continue to weigh on ringgit in the coming week

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 14 (Bernama): External concerns are expected to play a role in determining the direction of the ringgit this week, with investors keeping a close eye on the United States (US) retail sales, said an economist.

Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd chief economist Mohd Afzanizam Abdul Rashid said should the US data continue on a positive trend, the ringgit would remain soft next week.
