Brunei ready for transition phase


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Businesses such as restaurants, cinemas and salons will be allowed to re-open for fully vaccinated individuals on Nov 19, as the country moves into the Transition Phase, said Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Mohd Amin Liew Abdullah (pic) on Tuesday (Nov 9).

The minister said the Transition Phase will begin as soon as the Sultanate achieves full vaccination coverage of 70 per cent of the total population of the country on Nov 19.
