Thailand records 9,727 Covid-19 cases and 73 deaths


BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): The Ministry of Public Health reported on Thursday (Oct 21) morning that in the past 24 hours there are 9,727 new patients who tested positive for Covid-19, 71 of whom have been found in prisons.

Death toll increased by 73, while 10,075 patients were cured and allowed to leave hospitals.

Cumulative cases in the country are at 1,821,579 with 18,559 total deaths.
