MANILA, Oct. 18 (Xinhua): The Philippines' Department of Health (DOH) reported 6,943 new Covid-19 infections on Monday, pushing the number of confirmed cases in the South-East Asian country to 2,727,286.
The DOH also reported that 86 more people died from Covid-19 complications, bringing the country's death toll related to the virus to 40,761.
