A shot in the arm against Covid-19 in the Philippines, says the Inquirer

MANILA (Philippines Daily Inquirer/ANN): Lowering the Covid-19 alert level in Metro Manila is a shot in the arm for many business establishments, many of which have piled up huge losses and laid off workers because of the lingering pandemic.

Even the tourism sector, particularly airlines, will get a boost from the easing of travel restrictions, which reduced or removed altogether the facility quarantine requirement for travelers coming from so-called "green" or low-risk countries. (This can be expanded to include countries in the "yellow" or medium risk list with a huge concentration of migrant Filipinos such as the United States.)
