Thailand: 87% of students in Bangkok have received first Pfizer jabs as schools get ready to reopen in November

BANGKOK, Oct 17 (The Nation Thailand/ANN): Bangkok schools are getting ready to open for the second semester of this academic year, while 87 per cent of high-school students who registered have received their first Pfizer jab.

Khachit Chatchavanich, permanent secretary of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA), said on Sunday that 33,048 of Bangkok’s 37,466 students aged between 12 and 18 have registered for vaccination against Covid-19.
