Thailand logs 10,648 Covid-19 cases and 82 deaths


BANGKOK (The Nation/Asia News Network): The Ministry of Public Health reported on Saturday (Oct 16) morning that in the past 24 hours there are 10,648 new patients who tested positive for Covid-19, 111 of whom have been found in prisons.

The death toll increased by 82, while 10,794 patients were cured and allowed to leave hospitals.

Cumulative cases in the country are at 1,772,838 with 18,205 total deaths.
