MANILA, Sept 28 (Xinhua): The Philippines' Department of Health (DOH) reported 13,846 new Covid-19 infections on Tuesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the South-East Asian country to 2,522,965.

The DOH said 193 more people died from COVID-19 complications, and 102 of them were recorded in the past days. The DOH failed to report the daily deaths from Sept. 24 to Sept. 26 due to technical issues.
