Two unvaccinated seniors die of Covid-19, bringing Singapore's death toll to 78, with 1,939 new cases


Singapore reported a total of 1,939 new coronavirus cases on Sept 26, with 1,536 in the community. The total tally of Covid-19 infections in Singapore now stands at 87,892. - The Straits Times/ANN

SINGAPORE, Sept 27 (The Straits Times/ANN): Two unvaccinated Singaporean women, aged 97 and 69, have died of Covid-19 complications.

The 97-year-old died on Saturday (Sept 25) after testing positive on Sept 18, while the 69-year-old died on Friday after testing positive that day, said the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Sunday.
