Asean and US vow to cooperate to contain Covid outbreak at UN assembly, says Laos foreign minister

VIENTIANE, Sept 26 (Vientiane Times/ANN): Leaders from Asean and the United States have pledged to strengthen their cooperation in key priority areas, particularly the joint battle against the Covid-19 epidemic.

The leaders met at the virtual and hybrid Asean-US foreign ministers’ meeting on Sept 23, held on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
