Convicted police general under probe for abusing fellow inmate

THE National Police’s Criminal Investigation Department (Bareskrim) has opened an investigation into an allegation of abuse committed by Insp-Gen Napoleon Bonaparte, who was implicated in a bribery case involving graft convict Djoko Soegiarto Tjandra, of fellow inmate Muhammad Kasman.

The investigation was opened following reports filed by Kasman, also known as Muhammad Kece, on Aug 26 following the incident at Bareskrim’s detention centre in South Jakarta.
