Philippines logs 17,411 new Covid-19 cases, total surges to 2,434,753


MANILA (Xinhua): The Philippines' Department of Health (DOH) reported 17,411 new Covid-19 infections on Thursday (Sept 23), bringing the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 2,434,753.

The DOH also reported that 177 more people died from Covid-19 complications, pushing the country's death toll to 37,405.
