Community cases of Covid-19 continue to rise in southern Lao province


VIENTIANE, Sept. 15 (Xinhua): Community cases of Covid-19 in southern Laos' Champasak province continued to rise, with 104 new infections reported on Wednesday.

As many as 5,233 tests were conducted over the past 24 hours, with 233 new cases of Covid-19 recorded, Deputy Director General of the Department of Communicable Diseases Control under the Lao Ministry of Health Sisavath Soutthaniraxay told a press conference on Wednesday.
