Brunei police foil attempt to smuggle contraband cigs

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Police in the Tutong District have foiled an attempt to smuggle 740 cartons of contraband cigarettes, said the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF).

The attempt was discovered early on Monday (Sept 13) morning, when officers on a routine patrol of Sungai Paku, Telisai, saw some suspicious individuals and three vehicles parked at the side of the road.
