Brunei: Measures rolled out to ward off disruptions to oil and gas production


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Sept 7 (Borneo Bulletin/ANN): Measures have been implemented to ensure no disruptions to the production of oil and gas amid worrying number of Covid-19 positive patients in the Champion-7 Cluster.

Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Mohd Amin Liew said, “Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) is the focal point in ensuring the safety of workers as well as making sure the operation can still run. This is essential as without workers’ safety, there will not be any business continuity.
