Asian stocks rise ahead of central bank meetings

BEIJING, Sept 7 (AP): Asian stock markets rose on Tuesday after China reported stronger exports in August than expected while investors awaited decisions from European and other central banks on when stimulus might be wound down.

Shares advanced in Shanghai, Tokyo and Hong Kong, which are the bulk of Asia's market capitalization. Seoul and Sydney declined.
