Covid-19: Brunei extends strict measures for another month

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN (Borneo Bulletin/Asia News Network): Brunei Darussalam has extended the duration of the current restrictive measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 for another month until Oct 3, said Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Mohd Isham Jaafar during a press conference on Thursday (Sept 2).

“With the consent of His Majesty Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah and taking into account the unstable current situation in the Sultanate and the postponement of the first dose vaccine administration in the National Vaccination Programme, it is announced that the control measures informed on Aug 21, supposed to expire on Sept 4, is further extended until Oct 3.”
