Over 600 mine explosions occur in Myanmar's Yangon region since February


YANGON, Aug 28 (Xinhua): Myanmar authorities have arrested 322 suspects in connection with 619 mine explosions that took place in the Yangon region in the past nearly seven months, spokesperson for the State Administration Council told a press conference in the capital.

According to Zaw Min Tun, head of the council's Information Team, 59 other suspects were also arrested for violent acts which killed 84 civilians in Yangon from Feb 1 to Aug. 26.
