Indonesia reports 12,618 new Covid-19 cases, 599 more deaths

JAKARTA (Xinhua): The number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 12,618 within one day to 4,056,354, with the death toll adding by 599 to 130,781, the country's Health Ministry said on Friday (Aug 27).

According to the ministry, 19,290 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of patients recovering from Covid-19 to 3,689,256.
